CenterPointe Hospital is expanding their services to include an Outpatient Clinic in Maryville, Illinois that will provide partial hospitalization (PHP) outpatient therapy services to Adults/ Adolescents/ Seniors. We are currently recruiting for a Community Liaison.
The Community Liaison implements and reflects the philosophy, policy, procedures, systems and strategic goals set forth by the senior management team while maximizing referral potentials from assigned accounts. Develops new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the business development systems.
Specific job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Development Activities
1. Develop new accounts and markets and manage existing accounts in the employer EAP, Primary Care Physicians/Licensed Practitioners and managed care segments, and other referring professionals as directed by the Regional Director of Business Development.
2. Monitor referrals and admissions, and track any changes in volume.
3. Maintain a minimum of five quality contacts per day (or as assigned) with referral sources and others which will achieve the overall business development goals and objectives and fill out a marketing contact form for each.
4. Document marketing contacts and outcomes daily and maintain current account information, and update as required.
Marketing
1. Contact all primary accounts through personal visits, telephone calls and letters/mailers on an ongoing basis, developing and encouraging a relationship of trust with all active accounts.
2. Maintain current awareness of changes in the industry through self-education, peer education, and professional and community involvement for the betterment of this position and the facility.
3. Maintain a competition informational file and contribute to the ongoing SWOT analysis.
4. Actively participate with the business development team to increase productivity and reduce duplication of efforts.
5. Participate as a team player with all marketing activities, and assist in all aspects of preparing for conferences, events, tours, campaigns, etc.
Internal and Public Relations
1. Participate in the evaluation and analysis of facility statistics and provide recommendations to overall business planning strategies as appropriate.
2. Participate in the continuous analysis of the changing health care environment and health care market.
3. Participate with internal facility marketing such as the possible creation of an internal facility newsletter, employee communications, special event communications, etc.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience in health care business development/marketing environment. Psychiatric experience preferred.
Licensure: Must have a valid driver’s license.
SKILLS:
• Knowledge of basic business development concepts.

CenterPointe Hospital is expanding their services to include an Outpatient Clinic in Maryville, Illinois that will provide partial hospitalization (PHP) outpatient therapy services to Adults/ Adolescents/ Seniors. We are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Tech / Driver.
The Mental Health Tech / Driver will function as an active member of the Outpatient Clinic providing patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients. This MHT/Driver will provide pick-up and delivery services for patients enrolled in the program.
Specific job duties include but are not limited to the following:
1. Assures that patient’s rights are upheld. Understands and follows mandatory reporting requirements.
2. Assists patients by picking up for PHP and delivering them home at end of session.
3. Interacts with patients, physicians and hospital personnel in a pleasant, courteous manner.
4. Answers inquiries and/or directs to appropriate resources.
5. Answers telephone, phones patients with missed appointments, receives and sends fax messages. Relays information appropriately and accurately.
6. Pick up patients for PHP meetings in Outpatient Clinic; deliver patients to home after PHP therapy.
7. Provide phone assistance at the front desk
8. Follows therapeutic interventions outlined in treatment plan for each patient.
9. Continuously observes patients' behavior, mental status and activities; notifies appropriate personnel of any changes or unusual occurrences.
10. Communicates appropriately and clearly to the physicians, therapists, and other personnel as necessary.
11. Treats patients and families with respect and dignity, provides emotional support.
12. Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
13. Answers the telephone in a professional manner, directs calls appropriately, takes messages.
14. Operates equipment safely and correctly.
15. Maintains a good working relationship within the department and with the other departments of the facility.
16. Demonstrates the ability to be organized and flexible, acts appropriately in stressful/emergency situations.
17. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education: High School Degree or equivalent required; Certified Nursing Assistant preferred; Degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, social work, recreational therapy or appropriate therapeutic discipline preferred.

CenterPointe Hospital is expanding their services to include an Outpatient Clinic in Maryville, Illinois that will provide partial hospitalization (PHP) outpatient therapy services to Adults/ Adolescents/ Seniors. We are currently recruiting for a part-time Outpatient RN.
The Outpatient Clinic RN is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.
Specific job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Assessment
1. Performs patient assessments including: biophysical, psycho social, spiritual, cultural and age appropriate needs of the patient.
2. Completes body system assessment on assigned patients.
3. Completes reassessments as new information is acquired, as needs change and as progress toward goal is made.
4. Recognizes signs/symptoms of abuse or neglect in order to develop evaluate and modify patient’s plan of care.
Intervention
1. In conjunction with other disciplines, develops nursing interventions for medical problems (Axis III) as part of the master treatment plan.
2. Collaborates with physicians and health team members.
3. Processes physician’s orders, administers medications, performs venipuncture for labs, and documents information in medical records.
4. Administers prn medications accurately and documents route and time
5. Supervises/monitors clients who need assistance with home meds.
6. Accurately documents interventions and outcomes in nursing narratives notes.
7. Utilizes appropriate interventions in psychiatric and medical emergencies.
Treatment Planning
1. Prioritizes and formulates a plan of care based on patient assessment and according to policy.
2. Participates in the development of an interdisciplinary treatment plan with specific and measurable goals, objectives, and interventions defining actions unique to each patient’s needs.
3. Updates and revises the plan as goals/objectives are met or when the patient’s condition changes.
4. Documents both the nursing interventions on the treatment plan and the patient’s response to the intervention.
5. Contacts and communicates with community agencies/residences regarding medication/medical treatment issues as needed.
Teaching
1. Provides education to patients and families based on their identified needs and limitations, e.g., communications, interpersonal and social skills, and basic principles of physical health.
2. Evaluates and documents the effectiveness of all patient teaching.
3. Conducts patient psycho-educational groups and individual client education as needed.
4. Utilizes self as a role model to promote health communication.
Additional Responsibilities

11. Conducts intake call, assessment, and business office paperwork as per procedure.
12. Attends all mandatory facility in-services and staff development activities as scheduled.
13. Adheres to facility standards concerning conduct, dress, attendance and punctuality.
14. Supports facility-wide quality/performance improvement goals and objectives.
15. Maintains confidentiality of facility employees and patient information.
Requirements
Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
Licensure: Current and unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification required. Must pass a medication administration exam and complete a basic developmental competency exam.

CenterPointe Hospital is expanding their services to include an Outpatient Clinic in Maryville, Illinois that will provide partial hospitalization (PHP) outpatient therapy services to Adults/ Adolescents/ Senoirs. We are currently recruiting for an Outpatient Secretary.
The Outpatient Secretary will perform clerical and reception duties; requisitions supplies and equipment; assists patients, physicians and hospital personnel in the outpatient programs.
Specific job duties include but are not limited to the following:
1. Manages the patient’s chart during the patient’s stay in the program. Ensures that records and documents on patients not in the outpatient program are forwarded appropriately.
2. Ensures patient’s chart is in correct order, each page stamped with patient identification, reports charted timely (within one hour of receipt).
3. When appropriate and as directed, thins record, prepares appropriately labeled packet and stores thinned record in its designated place.
4. Upon transfer or discharge, ensures that the patient’s records are transferred to appropriate locations; forwards any reports within an hour of receipt.
5. Orders and maintains appropriate stock of proper supplies, forms and clerical materials.
6. Organizes and maintains filing systems to increase efficiency.
7. Assures that patient’s rights are upheld. Understands and follows mandatory reporting requirements.
8. Maintains census report for outpatient programs. Completes transfers and discharge paperwork and notification in a timely manner. Accurately completes census report.
9. Completes all transfers and discharges by notifying the appropriate departments.
10. Ensures patients are cleared through Patient Account Services.
11. Ensures discharged patient’s medical records are disassembled, identified with patient data and sent to Medical Records in a timely manner.
12. Assembles admission charts and keeps admission files stocked.
13. Contacts patients with missed appointments and document in chart.
14. Assists patients, physicians, and hospital personnel in outpatient programs.
15. Interacts with patients, physicians and hospital personnel in a pleasant, courteous manner.
16. Answers inquiries and/or directs to appropriate resources.
17. Operates other communication systems in accordance with policy and procedures. Refers calls regarding patient status to the Director.
18. TAKES NO ORDERS FROM PHYSICIANS. Transfers these requests and/or calls to the RN or LPN.
19. Answers telephone, phones patients with missed appointments, receives and sends fax messages. Relays information appropriately and accurately.
20. Sets up consultations with outside providers as ordered by physician.
Requirements
Education: High School Degree or equivalent. Associate Degree in Business preferred.
Experience: Sufficient previous clerical experience is required. Experience in health care is preferred.
Licensure: None

CenterPointe Hospital is expanding their services to include an Outpatient Clinic in Maryville, Illinois that will provide partial hospitalization (PHP) outpatient therapy services to Adults/ Adolescents/ Seniors. We are currently recruiting for a Therapist.
The Therapist performs therapy service functions to include assisting patients in meeting their bio-psychosocial needs while enabling them to gain/improve skills needed to achieve their optimal level of emotional health. Includes providing consultation, education, specialized therapy services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed. The Therapist assists with staff oversight, program monitoring and crisis management. Helps to organize the clinical services team and ensure quality patient care is being offered.
Specific job duties include but are not limited to the following:
1. Displays good theoretical knowledge of psychopathology and appropriate treatment techniques for each type of therapy according to age of patient.
2. Performs psychosocial assessments on all patients to determine social service needs, diagnosis and treatment plan.
3. Evaluates patient data; develops and implements a treatment plan for patient.
4. Communicates with physician regarding social service needs of patient.
5. Participates in treatment planning for each patient; works cooperatively as member of interdisciplinary treatment team; completes progress notes and discharge plans in a timely fashion.
6. Provides individual patient/family therapy and crisis intervention.
7. Maintains current knowledge of social, medical and psychiatric services available within the community. Obtains other resources as needed.
8. Communicates with family members and other customers regarding patient needs and anticipated plans.
9. Collaborates with Utilization Management staff and other members of the team to provide for psychosocial assistance.
10. Treats patients and families with respect and dignity.
11. Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
12. Actively participates in assigned team meetings and other meetings, as appropriate.
13. Communicates and assists with documentation requirements to meet accreditation and certification body regulations.

Requirements
Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work, Counseling or a clinical related mental health field.
Experience: Therapist I: One (1) year experience, but will consider new grads in an entry-level capacity with a supervisory plan. Therapist II: Five (5) years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills.
License: Therapist I: State certified in social work or a clinical related mental health field (LCSW) or (LPC). Therapist II: State certified in social work or a clinical related mental health field (LCSW) or (PLPC).
Additional Requirements: CPR training is provided during orientation. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
Experience with the provision of individual, family, and group therapy services required. Must be familiar with chemical dependency issues and have knowledge of 12-step programs and philosophies.
