Diane Sands, RN
Diane has a background in both social work and nursing. She has worked in the areas of elder abuse, foster care, legal guardianships and adoptions. As a nurse, she has been involved with multiple aspects of the behavioral health field including acute inpatient, crisis residential, community housing and outpatient services.
Diane received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Bradley University. She received her Associate of Nursing degree from Brown Mackie College. She is a licensed Registered Nurse both in Missouri and Illinois.
Diane displays empathy, understanding and care for individuals with mental illness and substance abuse disorders. She believes that support, education and dignity help clients to obtain and maintain recovery. Diane has a great passion for reducing the stigma of mental health issues as well as access to mental health resources and services.
